Day One - October 18

Arrival Day

DETAILED ITINERARY


Upon arrival at Panama International Airport you will be greeted by our local transportation to take a quick 30 minute drive to Old Town.


Check in at our family owned hotel and settle in.


The group will come together for our included Welcome Dinner at 7:00 PM on our first night in Panama.

Day Two - October 19

Visit Monkey Island

DETAILED ITINERARY


Enjoy breakfast at the hotel at your leisure. The group will be picked up in the morning following breakfast for our full day tour to Monkey Island and to visit the Wounaan indigenous women who live on the Panama Canal.


Your excursion today includes a late lunch after visiting the indigenous tribe.


The group will return back to the hotel in the late afternoon/early evening. After drop off you will have the evening free to enjoy Old Town or relax.

Further Explore Panama City

DETAILED ITINERARY


After breakfast and coffee, enjoy an activity of your choice. Today is your opportunity to choose how you would like to further explore Panama City. We have arranged two incredible options for you to choose from.


1) Beach day tour with a birds eye view of the Panama Canal and snorkeling - add on excursion curated and planned for you for the additional cost of $225

2) Full city tour to learn the history of Panama City and the Panama Canal - included in the price of your trip


After your tour, your evening is free to further explore Old Town or to relax.

Next Stop...Bocas del Toro

DETAILED ITINERARY


Check out of our Old Town Panama City Hotel and enjoy an on the go breakfast before you morning flight to the islands.


Take a quick 1-hour flight with the group and board a domestic flight to fly to the charming island town, Bocas del Toro. 


Upon landing in town our local guide will take the group to our water taxi transfer to experience indigenous woman's culture up close and personal. 


This tour gives you the privilege to be welcomed into the local village. Take a hike through the rainforest with the medical women leaders to learn about the wonders of plants. Enjoy lunch with the women and learn how to make handmade purses and baskets.


This full day tour includes lunch. After the tour you will have time to explore Bocas del Toro and souvenir shop before taking a water taxi back to our hotel.


After the incredible tour, take a 1-hour transfer by boat to our remote eco-lodge home.  Check in and relax beachside before dinner.


All meals at our remote island hotel are included and family style. Listen for the conch horn to know when meals are served.

Day Five - October 22

Full Day at the Beach

DETAILED ITINERARY


Today is your opportunity to relax beachside at our stunning eco-lodge home. Enjoy all of the complimentary beach equipment including sea kayaks, stand up paddle boards, binoculars, snorkel gear, and yoga mats. There is also a volleyball net that our team can set up in the water upon request.


We are offering two group experiences today that are totally optional.

1) Join the group for a morning yoga class 

2) Before dinner join the group of a guided sunset kayak tour


Enjoy your time with smoothies, drinks, daily afternoon snacks, and more.


You are also able to book spa services for an additional cost. Inquire to book yours for your beach stay.

Day Six - October 23

Second Full Day in the Islands

DETAILED ITINERARY


Today offers another opportunity to customize your trip. You are able to select from several adventure activities today to further explore the stunning beaches and surrounding areas of Bocas del Toro.


Cherish has curated incredible excursion options for you to choose from or simply enjoy another full day relaxing beach side at the resort.


Excursion Selections:

1)  Isla Zapatillas Remote Beach with Snorkeling  - Half Day Tour ($100)

2) Mangrove Snorkeling - Half Day Tour ($100)

3) Chocolate Tour - Half Day Tour ($85)

4) Visit Salt Creek Indigenous Community (included)

Day Seven - October 24

Final Day at the Beach

Say your goodbyes to our islands home and head back to the main island of Bocas del Toro to fly on a domestic flight back  to Panama City.


Upon arrival in Panama City join the group for an optional meal at a harbor side restaurant. 


Check into our comfortable airport hotel for your last night in Panama. Enjoy your last night with your newfound friends or relax before departing tomorrow.


*the optional group send off dinner is not included as part of the trip cost

Departures

Take the departure shuttle back to the airport at the time that works best for your flight. Wave goodbye to gorgeous Panama as you head home after a fantastic trip.

Official Name - Tocumen International Airport Panama (PTY)


Suggested arrival time prior to 5:00 PM on October 18th to allow enough time for pick up and transfer from the airport in order to join the group dinner at 7:00 PM


Departures are at your leisure on October 25th, the shuttle from our airport hotel can take you to the airport whenever works best for you.


Full pick up details will be sent to you at least one week prior to your arrival.

Entry Requirements for Panama

  • Valid passport within at least six months of expiration
  • Return ticket to the country of origin or the next destination to visit
  • Proof of economic solvency of at least five hundred dollars (USD $500.00) in cash, credit card, bank reference, work letter, or traveler's checks. 
  • Address of the place of lodging and purpose of travel.
  • Currently, there are no COVID-19 related requirements for US travlers
  • US travelers do not require a tourist visa to visit Panama
